Mr. Winberry’s practice is focused on advising and representing businesses and individuals in land use and environmental matters. His practice includes many years of experience in California’s General Land Use Planning Laws, CEQA, matters within the jurisdiction of Regional Water Quality Control Boards, California Coastal Commission, federal issues arising under NEPA, CWA, 404 Permitting, and matters within TRPA jurisdiction, He has guided clients through the planning, approval, development, marketing and sale of two of the most successful up-scale resort residential communities developed in the Lake Tahoe area over the last 25 years. In addition, Mr. Winberry advises and represents clients in general real estate matters, including litigation arising from real estate transactions. He also handles litigation arising from general business disputes, construction disputes and defects as well as litigation arising from land use and environmental disputes in all California Courts as well as U.S. District Courts in California and in the Federal Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
